  3. Full payment is required for taster days and 1-day courses, unless a deposit payment option is offered.
  4. Full payment is required to be received into the school account 10 working days before the first day of the course.
  5. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure they have adequate insurance cover whilst practising the techniques learnt with LSTMB outside of class.
  6. By enrolling onto a course a student agrees to follow the course to completion and to pay the full fees, and abide by the LSTMB terms and conditions.
  7. Students are encouraged to arrive for lessons on time. Late entry to the class is at the discretion of the teacher who may refuse entry to any student who is more than ten minutes late or is habitually late.
  8. The maximum number of students in a class is 8.
  9. Course fees do not include course books, materials, travel expenses, social events where fees are charged or personal and health insurance.
  10. Students at the School all study together and it is required that students consider one another and all teachers and staff. Any student whose behaviour causes inconvenience, offence or distress to other students or LSTMB staff will be excluded from lessons. Persistent offenders will be expelled from LSTMB and their course cancelled. No refund of course fees will be made.
  11. A student agrees on signing the registration form that LSTMB may keep their personal records on its computerised systems. Should any circumstances change it is the studentís responsibility to keep LSTMB informed of all changes, in particular, of any changes of home address in the UK, as well as in their home country, changes to emergency telephone numbers and contact names and change of email address.
  12. Students are expected to attend all of their classes and are required to have at least an 80% attendance rate.  It is the students responsibility to catch up with work missed if a class cannot be attended.
  13. LSTMB will try to contact any student who remains absent from their class for five days or more. This is so that the School can find out what may be wrong with the student, to offer any welfare assistance and to remind them of the need to comply with the terms and condition of enrolment at LSTMB. Letters and certificates will not be issued to students who have not paid, attended or reached the levels necessary for the documents they want.
  14. Course fees include examination, assessment, and certification fees for the course enrolled upon. If a student would like a separate certificate (where available) for part of a course the student will need to pay an additional registration fee.  For example if a student who is enrolled onto the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary therapies would like a certificate for their massage course taken in Term 1 they will need to pay the VTCT registration fee for this course.

No refund of course fees can be made until the school has verified the visa refusal is genuine.

  7. International students are required to present their passports on their first day and the school will retain a copy, as required by UKBA immigration regulations.
  8. Students with a GSV (general student visa) are advised that they must attend at least 80% of their lessons by law.
  9. Under the new UKBA Tier 4 immigration system, it is now a legal obligation for LSTMB (as the students sponsor) to report extended periods of absence of more than 10 consecutive days to the UKBA monitoring unit.
